He makes it sound like he was being lazy, pretty much every time I saw him Saturday he was on the move. We'll call this his bigfoot in the wild pose.
Mark, Thanks to all for taking the time and effort that it took to put this on. Meeting you was one of the highlights of the week for me.
I was marveling over the condition of the crown coupe....not a single crack in the paint....I was under the assumption it was unrestored and last painted in 1968. A friend of mine at home told me the other day that he heard the car was restored right before the 50th Detroit autorama. that would have been 2002 i believe. Does anyone know for sure??
I was talking to rick, the owner, he told me it was original, thought it was amazing shape myself, i also thought it was pretty cool and im sure not everybody noticed, the fish scales on the door
We had a great time bringing the Dream Truck to CCR. Met lots of old friends and made several new ones. Got to hang out with CornCobCoupe till the wee hours of the morning. That was cool. Well.. Anyway, here's my stuff...
Bob Davis ashes were in the trunk of his car. This really made me think. I talked to his son Brian for a while about his dad's passing and we shared some tears as we remembered the good times we shared with Bob. R. I. P. Mr. Davis God speed my friend.
