Event Coverage Back To The 50's Roll Call

1 week until Registration Pick Up. Safe travels to all that will be heading to the beautiful Twin Cities for this awesome event. I'm excited for all of you that will be attending for the first time, you're going to love it. Im thinking the South Registration Pick Up location is going to be great!

do you know Bart & Madera Winter, funeral director?? Madera is a close friend of my wifes & she's meeting us up there. coming up Thursday, staying at a Holiday Inn in St Paul.

 

I'll be there. Still watching the weather to decide if I drive the t-bucket or the '35 Chevy. Haven't been to the show in quite a while, but recently moved back to the Midwest. Looking forward to a great weekend.

Going to a wedding in Nebraska that week end. First miss since it started!

 

Wouldn't miss it for a wedding or a funeral!

 

If I don't go to the wedding it will be my funeral.

 

Been wrapping up a few things i "wanted to get done", far cry from a few years ago when it was just painted and the list was paired down to "will I get ticket with out it?" the only glass on the car was the windshield.
Finally put on some parts that were picked up during the build, rear door window screens, tailgate window screen (for camping in the back of the car ) and shirts. the mounting hardware was on the car when purchased as a 4X4 monster truck.

South registration was great. No traffic to deal with, literally drove right in. Then only waited in line for about 5 minutes to get the paperwork. Hopefully the south registration is an option for next year as well. See you there tomorrow.

 

Well the first show I was going to bring the 50 chevy truck, but the motor broke and there's no way to get it fixed before the weekend, but Saturday afternoon I will be working the serving line at the Hamline Dining hall, 3-8pm, come say "Hi".

 

Packing the roadster in a few minutes, looks to be excellent weather this weekend.

 

Yep will be heading up in the three window later today!

 

We'll be out there in the morning. Wish it was going to be 20 degrees cooler.... Will be selling at the swapmeet on Sunday too.
