I am looking for Ken Liden's 1939 Willys Pickup Gasser. The truck was sold in Everett Washington in the early 1980's thought to have been sold to someone North of Everett WA, possibly Arlington, Mount Vernon..... The truck was metallic Green with gold highlights. The trucks name was the Iron Toy. I have an ad on Seattle craigslist in hopes that someone knows of the trucks whereabouts. My uncle Ken recently passed away and my father, Ken's only living brother, and myself hope to find the truck and restore it to it's original racing condition. The last photo, I received from a craigslist response, was taken in 1987 or so at Seattle International Raceway. Although the paint remained the same, the lettering , "Iron Toy" had been removed. Any information regarding the truck would be graciously appreciated. Thank you, Saliden
No luck finding my uncles truck yet. Are there any Willys pickups or pickup cabs for sale out there so i can recreate the truck? Thank you Shawn
Check out the ebaycraiglisthambclassifieds for bodies, but there are also glass ones made too, if your ok with that. A lot were glass, due to the racing side of things, but I expect any steel body would be pricey. Maybe ask Kiwikev here, as he has built a few out of sedan bodies. I'd like too see you recreate your uncles truck.
