A big Hello from NC! I currently have a 1950 Chevrolet Sport Coupe that is all original and I am looking to get some advice on mild custom work (e.g. upgrading differential and power-glide). Not trying to build a sleeper, just want a little more Getty-up from this 235 cid and maintain current speeds on the highway without exceeding 3,500 rpm.

Welcome. Boy that Chevy looks pristine from the front shot. I'd suggest you post your question on the main board and definitely show us more pictures of that beauty.

Here she is in all of her glory! 235 cid lowered 3" Fenton dual Rochester carbs intake, everything else is factory right down to the original 6volt system

  8. Welcome Bob. Thanks for the photo. Great looking coupe. I wouldn't change a thing as for the looks. I like the stance, visor, and skirts too. Ron...

Forgot to mention, I give you great credit for keep it stock (for the most part) I'm too much of a tinkerer to leave anything stock.

Welcome Bob. Great looking Chevy! I have a 50 sport coupe I'm working on as well. What beauty rings are you running around your center caps?

Hello TJR, To be honest I am not sure. However, I have gotten many inquiries as well as compliments. My bets guess is that they are period correct after-market whereas I have not seen these anywhere else.
