  4. Just looked back through all the pics I took that day and only found one pic that someone else actually took that even showed the rear of that car (and it was only in the background). Pretty sure it was later model Cadillac taillights.

I did find a good one from the front...

Oh, man. Why not go with era-appropriate taillights?! Everything else on that shoebox is so look perfect!

if you mean decrowning, yes i did ;-) it's the car you see as my avatar...

ok, if you're not familiar with french iron, may be it's not obvious...but it was the idea !lol!

here it is compared to my part car (stock) i took 4cm in the pillars, and 4 more cm in the crown, the goal was to cut just what was too much :D

after that i did the chassis swap on a 94 renault plateform....loooooots of work. An when it was time to fix the front end, i had a hard time finding an easy way to mock up the front fenders just the time to to build the new fixation for them on the renault  tryed to build some tools for that purpose three times... and failed three times

i was totally bored, it was the winter, and i was cold so....i chopped the part car, because chopping is way more fun !lol!

chopped 8cm this time, lenghtened front door and turned into a panel :D

both chopped wagon together again :p

Zed - Do you have a build thread? If so, I'd love to have the link!

Fantastic, Zed. I love them both. Can't wait to see more!
The station wagon brings to mind George Cerny's Plymouth.
(I'd have shown the flamed version, but your flames would be far nicer!;))

  22. Kurt was pulling around the lot the other night and I stuck my thumb out. He asked if I needed a ride....but of course I said. "Only moving the back of the hotel" was his response. I jumped in and told him didn't matter....I was riding in the Dream Truck and just a few feet is better than none. :D

  23. Wow, a ride in the Dream Truck--even a short one, would be awesome. Talk about a great memory to relive forever! That's pretty cool, Doc! E
