Been trying to rack up as many miles on the the old roadster this week as I can. We will be meeting up with Mike Whitney (richcraft) in Nashville on Saturday in his freshly painted 32 highboy.

Almost to Nashville to meet up with Mike Whitney.

 

Well things have been pretty wild. We met up with Mike Whitney yesterday in Nashville and he had no oil pressure and a rod knocking. We tried to line up an engine but this morning he decided he wanted to get a trailer ride home from a friend and fix the car. He's going to bowling Green instead and calling it quits for this year. My brother and I got back on the road and we are traveling solo for now. I have a rear axle seal leaking but otherwise the car is doing pretty good.

.............Very true but, sometimes hard to keep 'em in place, at speed, in a roadster.

 

Great looking roadster, having logged lots of topless miles myself, your stories will be some of the best told when you get to Pomona....................... be safe traveling.

Ran 780 miles today and made it to Amarillo TX. Roadster needs a nap and my brother and I are beat. Hope to log another 750 tomorrow and make Kingman AZ by tomorrow night.

 

Way to go!!! I've got a full fendered '29 and I think I would most probably be dead after 750 miles! Your car looks great! Keep it up--- you'll get there.
