Old vee-dubs can be fun, but be careful. They can get outta hand. Check my album and see why I know. :D

Just found this one, love this project. I hope she is reading this too, so she knows how awesome this is and how many people admire her maturity and motivation.

This is great! I look forward to my 2 daughters helping me one day. They're only 4 right now, but eager.

Great post! I have a daughter on the way and hope she loves cars half as much as I do!

still have it, threw a car cover over it for now. it's completely finished and ready for paint. just had to put a major hold on it. hoping to get back on it and squirt some paint on it. nothing worst than having a completely ready to paint car and can't finish it.

Good to hear the Falcon is still around. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who suffers from extended project delays. Be patient. It will be worth it.

Working on a car with your kids is some of the best quality time you can have.

I was recently doing some work underneath our Falcon Convertible. I was struggling to fit the driveshaft with my severe pains in my left arm. My daughter (now in her mid 30's) appeared and asked if I needed any help. Next thing she was lying on the garage floor helping me while wearing a white top. I yelled at her to get out from under the car wearing a good white top but she just replied "It's only clothes, don't worry about it!"

Her mother used to hate it when she was a kid and came out to the garage only to go back into the house covered in grease and oil.

...I echo many of the previous posters regarding the quality time spent between a parent and their kid.. The biggest part being that the parent is handing to their child a skill that they have honed and spent a great deal of their life tuning to a point where someone can appreciate it. Sharing that talent with the kid so that they can learn to appreciate the work is outstanding... Every parent needs to see things like this and realize the value of it.. Sadly---such "parenting" has become a rarity--
You're doing a great job on the car--and sharing the time with your daughter...
Looking forward to the next update...
