ALERTS, HOW TO TURN OFF?

    I have stuck my finger in the wrong hole and now get an alert every time a new thread is started. I went to my profile and turned off all my alerts but still get them...... what the heck do I need to do to shut them off? Thanks

    Did you log off and log back on after turning them off? That might get the system to recognize the changes.

    Click on it.

    A drop down will come and you have the choice of........

    " And receive Email notification"......

    OR

    "with out Email notification"

    Click on the one you want.
