    hi bigcheese327 , you're right , i made a mistake it's a 223 CI not 239 , i don't know why i have writen that.

so i'll take a look on these models in france , because other time shipping costs will superate the trans price.

you are speaking about ford o matic , right?

    thanx for your help !

What a difference lowering and a set of wheels makes! Looks cool now!

  5. I got my '60 back from body and paint a few weeks ago, and the satin black paint really makes the interior pop. Just have to hang the tailgate, grill & bumper, and other brightwork...

    Man, that looks SWEET!!!
I am officially an ex- F-100 owner... We've re-located to No. California, and my '59 is now my nephew's. He's vowed to carry on the direction I was headed in...

  7. My 60 I am working on. I am going to put a T5 behind the Y block and lower it eventually. Original paint is a keeper :D

Do you know if it was factory in those years?

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Been wrenching on this 1959 f100 most nights after work for a year. This is the color I found it. Solid body but the floor was gone along with the frame and drivetrain. Doner vehical was a totaled 95 p71 police interceptor. Did a frame and suspension build, drivetrain swap, ton of fab, and reassembly. the front hood space above the grill is 1 inch less and 6 inches are missing from the bumper. the wheelbase is .75" longer but the body is 1" shorter. Frenched an Ac/heater into the dash along with a gps/cd/DVD head unit and added another glove box. Smoothed out the old speaker location. 2 functional period correct police spots. Moved the seat back and up. Moved the pedals and floor forward 5 inches while doing a new floor and trans tunnel. Frenched a cup holder/tray into the trans tunnel. Has an injected 4.6 v8 with overdrive auto trans. Built a new frame. Used the doner 4link rear and front independent control arms with oversized disk brakes. Used the 8.8 rear and alum driveshaft. New hd springs and air assist shocks. Classic 5 stars with a ton of rubber. Indaglow gauges and custom cluster. FUN to drive! #rat, rat rod, ford, f100, street rod, resto mod, custom, lowered, modified

This 58 will be my daily driver
It's built using components from 5
    Different trucks
Chassis is 1974 so is the floor
Front rails have been cut off and 1998
Front rail section from ford falcon has been grafted in which gives me strut suspension and power steer rack and pinion . Cab has been chanelled .it was originally f600. I had no f100 guards
So I cut the arches and removed 8"
Tub is home made with truck arches welded in they are $3000 where I live
It'll be up and running in 6weeks as I'm on a deadline for engineering after that
I'll prep for paint.original lite green
    Thanks for looking J
