I've already had some offers to buy it...if I keep it, the fenders would be coming off

Larry you change vehicles more than I change socks. Can't you keep one for a whole season? Don't sell this "3-window".

Should I Fedex you a Propane Flamethrower for the Shop so you can get your tired butt out there and make a start? It would almost be worth it....anyone care to chip in???

Just kidding. I guess I`m not good at `patiently waiting`....:D

right after I got the truck in early december, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer...so I haven't had a lot of time or energy to do anything with it yet...one things for sure, it ain't for sale. I go in next week for my final round of chemo...after that, I have to go to san antonio for bone marrow (stem cell) transplant...then I should be cancer free

  20. Hey Larry,
Great to hear about your progress!
I need to tell you about the bone marrow transplant.
My son's girlfriend 26 years old, had a bone marrow
    transplant over2 years ago.
    It worked wonderfully,.
She is totally cancer free 2 years out!
Again prayers out there to you!
    You can do it!
    All the best,
    Tony

The chrome grille is on a work bench behind the truck. I just stuck that rusty wall hanger grille on there for shits and giggles. I've got another perfect original grille shell and insert hanging on the wall I'll use for this build.

I've been offered $1500 for the chrome one and another $1500 for the Diamond B motor. I already sold the artillery wheels for $500...so having paid only $7500 for the truck, after I sell those items, I'll have the start of a low dollar 32 pickemup for about $4000...I can live with that. :)

Larry, now its been 77 months ago, one hospital told me I had about 20 months, I went to Mayo in Phoenix.
had all the usual, two years ago this June I had bone marrow transplant. Now, No signs of Cancer. I do take 12 pills A DAY, One of the pills costs $10,000.00 per month, take for 21 days, then off for 7 days. Cost me $5000.00 deductible a year, then $570.00 per month. Either be rich or have great insurance or be extremely POOR, if you are somewhere in the middle. ITS da shits.
Good Luck, I be thinking of you.. Mine is called Multiple Myeloma, ( a blood and bone cancer.) Larry, haven't I filled out nicely ?

They are making soooo much progress on over-coming cancer.. It's great....

  29. Continuing to pray for your health, Larry. Killer truck. I know that you have cool plans for the truck, but I think a stance adjustment is about all I'd do to it, and drive the socks off of it.

  30. Larry, keep up the good fight - I have a family friend who was diagnosed and given 6 months - that was 18 years ago...

    Take care,
    Steve
