Man, car looks great and you did a good job of not over doing it. I'm excited for you and Buddy to get together and for him to drive it again. Now I can tell my wife that all of my hours of searching car stuff on this computer actually benefited someone haha.

No one ever would have known about this car, including Buddy, if you didn't spend that time on the computer! So. thank you!

You're more than welcome, I'm so glad that you and Buddy have hit it off and are going to be at TROG together with his old car running on the sand can't wait to see the pics. of that. And thanks for sticking with this post even with all the negative crap that's been thrown around I'm sure you were tempted to say screw it at times. Great job

What an incredible weekend! Got to meet Buddy Hinman, let him drive his old roadster, race it , break it, race it some more, race it broken, and still win! This car handles incredibly well, launches hard and took a hell of a beating over the past 2 days...bringing another meaning to the word "survivor"!....and the history continues......

Man, I was in the parking lot at the Surfcomber on Friday night when you pulled in with this car.
This car is freakin' BAD ASS ... what an amazing Hot Rod story.

I had the good fortune to see the car in person and talk to Eli at his shop recently- mind blowing to say the least.

Definitely the BEST tale of a Hot Rod coming full circle and ending up in the right place .
Those pics of Bud on the beach are priceless. ( and the video in front of Eli's is cool as hell too!)
AND, for all the nay-saying, it KICKED ASS!
