I don't know if this guy is a HAMB member but these are the biggest flames I've ever seen. He has a 57 plymouth 2 door sedan. I have seen him around the Cleveland Ohio area.

One of my friend also played with gasoline and fire at the 2004 A-Bombers Oldstyle meet in Sweden!!! (In Denmark we say that if you play with fire, you will wet your bed!! It has always made me wonder, if you play with urine, will your bed then catch fire???)

How do you hook up propane injection. I would love to have flame throwers on my ride but, I don't want the wash down.

So a HAMB search. I believe this has been discussed and there are several threads on flame build techniques already. I always enjoy seeing flame pics though...

Larry's car is cool. The pipes...stupid.

Steve's flames were pretty much a one time deal at the 3rd Billetproof. He almost burned his whole car down. The plastic fuel cell melted and partially collapsed, very nearly rupturing. It sure was cool, but WAY STUPID! Steve will tell you the same thing. It's funny how one picture sets someone up for eternal fame (or flame, get it?)

By no means are these as big and crazy as the ones posted here but i figure i do pretty good with these, being as there is no injection, all naturally aspirated here, single 4 bbl carb on an OHC Pontiac Inline six. here's a shot of me tryin to warm up a Canadian winter.

Larrys pipes may look a tad over the top, but they sound really really cool when he lightes'em up, almost like a snare drum. You couldnt get that sound with different tips.

my brother and i attended billetproof with his 39 ford coupe that year and yes kirk, i witnessed that . it was fricken unbelievable. his buddies kept saying "stand back" stand back" after a while people thought "allright allready, how far do we need to go"? "the flames cant get even close to this"....wrong. when he ignited it all everyone could see was fire and felt intense heat throughout the parking lot. that was unsane!

I think it went about 50 feet (out and up). Some people were PISSED! It was basically a (barely) controlled explosion.

Just going a bit O/T, has anyone seen/got pics of flame burnouts? I remember seeing this small pic (in Hotrod mag)of Pure Hell doing one and the entire back of it is covered in flame! danm impressive-you wouldnt want to stall the car and not be able to get away from the pool of burning fuel!
