  2. Perfect proportions - I have a set of the deep '47 style Caddy caps destined for my 41, now that I see how they look on yours, it's a certainty.
    Very sharp 41!

...and it is a '41 Ford short door coupe, too.

Your car is sick. What are you planning for glass on the sides? No glass? Was wondering about some customs out there that just never bothered with side glass.

If I ever get back on it, it'll have side glass like the Hirohata Mercury. That being said it's been sitting as is for many years now.

I am really late to this post.
I picked up my 41 Tudor in September of last year. It's been a slow long going process in getting it back on the road. As of now I am putting a 226 L6 Flathead from a 48 car in it. 1941 Ford Tudor-Exterior 002.JPG

Here's my 41 Ford. I've owned it since I was 16 yrs old. My father helped me purchase this car in 1969 from a Cherry farmer in Santa Clara, California. Over the years I've done many upgrades. In the early 70's we swapped out the tired flathead for a 283 Chevy that we pulled out of a 58 Corvette. I installed a Columbia 2 speed rear axle and 26 tooth Lincoln gears in the original ford gear box. In my 20's I couldn't afford paint or upholstery so I worked part time for a car restorer and learned how and did it myself. The car is certainly part of the family after owning it for over 47 years.

    Thanks for starting this post.

Started in July of 2013, tried to finish up for it's 75th anniversary, but did not. Bed to be finished this winter. Full blog on the Ford Barn. 004backward[1].jpg 021cabtiltingoff[2].jpg 2015122095110142[1].jpg IMG_20161016_154517956[1].jpg IMG_20161021_174508665[1].jpg
