That Sedan looks so lonely sitting out in the field. '52 Motor Trend showed how to turn an ugly duckling Sedan into a Sports job;
Although the front grill on these cars is considered either butt ugly or beautiful, depending on your personal stance they are good solid cars. The stock engine uses the splasher type lubrication system which is not the greatest but a later model 308 can easily be swaped in. I currently have 4 of these (1 brougham, 1 coupe and 2 sedans) but will have to let 2 or 3 go to other owners as I can't build them all. Grab that puppy and build yourself something different from the standard Ford, Chevy, GM, etc.
The hood of one of these things would make a great boat tail. I could see using the original fenders/grille/cowl of this car on a shortened wheelbase with the hood as a boat tail rear as some kind of cut down sports car similar to the one above.
I've got a 39 Terraplane hood to do exactly this. I'd like to see some closer pics of this Sedan, just for fun.
Guys, we've had at least a half dozen posts featuring non HAMB-friendly rides...let's keep it focused. If you aren't familiar with the rules, take a gander http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-h-a-m-b-rules-guidelines.44274/
