    I agree, the Schafer 8 Buick INDY car used the same grille shell.

    Once you look past the boat trailer wheels and grade school art class level fake patina on it, that is a pretty neat car. With the right details it could be a cool sports-rod.

    The car looks like one of those ultra rare C/D's. Or more formally known as a Cobble Dupp roadster. Few have survived.

    Thank you for all your help I really appreciate it. WRM matched the wing part of the emblem.

    yeah, looks like he found the right one! Now you know what the emblem is from (and the grille)
     
  11. Actually in the writings of Gamaliel you can find mention of the Star of Bethleham or Davids Star. They are translated equally from the same words and depend on context I suppose. The hexagram actually dates back as far as the Pharos time, perhaps before that.

    my mention is the Star of David has to do with the familiarity of the symbol and in comparison to the symbol that was etched into the insignia on the car and nothing more than that.
