Downtown Nevada City, Ca. Not much has changed except the cars. The Alpha Hardware store is now a furniture store. Used to be the best place to find anything, including mining supplies Dynomite. They stopped selling Dynomite after some kook purchased Dynomite and used it to blow up some guy in his truck back in the 80s. The park you can see on the extreme right at the corner of Broad and Union streets is not just a hang out for homeless and pot smoking punks. Great li'l town still the same. Lots of great taverns.

This takes me back to the day I stood there with my duffle bag at my feet waiting for my Dad to pick me up. Sept 27 1968.

…. having lost the parking slip, all the lady could tell Bob was her car had 3 side windows. Nearing quitting time, Bob was then required to really 'crank' these things out ….

  17. A car in Higgins, Texas that was struck by bricks during the April, 1947 Higgins-Glazier tornado. The tornado was an F5 and, possibly, the most powerful to ever hit Texas.
