Here's a few pics of the '39 in its formative years when Ray first bought it. It was purchased in Hightstown in 1955
We've really struck paydirt this time. Here's a pic of Ray with his very first Hot Rod. It wasn't much, but, it was his first. The other is probably my favorite pic of the '39 taken when it was first put on the road and Ray hadn't asked for it back yet. Enjoy!
No more comments? Where'd everybody go? Well, here's a '50 Merc Ray had around 1960. That's my wife standing next to it.
Killer pictures... I'm hoping to chop my 29 roadster top soon and talk Ray into whipping out the old sewing machine! We'll see...
Ray was at the Ocean Grove show on Saturday with the '39. I had my Model A. Didn't bring the cars to Long Branch. We went and both got soaked.
Was at Beacon Street couple of weeks ago. The '39 was there. My car wanted a pic with it so here it is.
SpRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRing time is here, at least it is according to the calendar. Time to start dusting and charging and well, you know. Ray's been working on his car and made some changes, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'm not going to tell you what they are. NEENER< NEENER< NEENER!
To all people concerned. At this time, I, with a very heavy heart, announce the passing of Mr. Raymond Cass at age 84. I cannot write down all the adventures we had over the past 43 years without writing volumes. He was a great friend and a great father in law and never held back anything he knew, be it cars, art, or musical instruments. He will be missed sorely, being taken from us way too soon.
