The way it was loaded showed some care- plus the loose parts loaded with it make me think its' being saved, not crushed. if I had any thought it was heading to the crusher i'd still be sitting there waiting for the driver to return.
Makes me want to head out to the Hi way here in Edmonton and watch for him to pass through if he's heading for BC
Scrappers wouldn't take that much care in loading, and stuff would be flattened or stacked, that looks like a load of goodies going to a new home. Good to know it's safe, wonder where it all sat for so many years.
I love to see sights like this!!!....makes me smile, and does my heart good....better if it was pulling into my driveway
wonder if it all came from one location or if the buyer had the semi driver pick the stuff up at different locations? that is what happened with me, I sold a local pickup auction at that online auction site to a guy in ca. and had a semi pull in that was loaded with just that guys stuff. he said he does this about 3 or 4 times a year for this guy. guy goes on a buying spree and this trucker picks it up wherever he had to for his buddy.
There was a very nice yard in Bonnyville, Alberta. I went to it in probably 2001 while I was up in Cold Lake for some duty with the Air Force. I ended up buying a 27 T touring on a 32 frame out of that yard. Paid $200 Canadian. I often wonder if the place is still there. It was very well kept up and clean and neat. Matter of fact there were cows grazing in the yard because I came up on one unexpectantly and it scared me half to death. Sent from my A520L using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
