Features Best Garage Shirts

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by jim1932, May 12, 2016.

  1. Kinda off topic, but who has cool AUTHENTIC garage shirts. Not the amazon shirt vendors. Looked at most of my vendors and fav's but not collared shirts. TROG, Flop, Old Crow and so on. Any suggestions?

  2. Look into Dickies. They have some good shirts.

  3. One of my favorites. Just got it. 050.JPG

Buy 'em at a thrift store. Find old Wranglers or Big Macs made in the USA in the '60s & finish wearing them out. Read the label in the highly over rated "Dickie" to see who made it ...

  7. I like Dickies short sleeved button up shirts. Of course in dark blue or dark green. They take some abuse and I wear them over t-shirts on cooler days. Almost anything washes out of them.

  8. Let me clarify, Looking for collared shirts with speed shop or hot rod stuff on them. Seen Dickies and Luck 13. Just wondering what shops put them out.

  12. Out in the shop I am usually head to toe Ben Davis, except for my Danner boots. The most indestructible combination i've had. While I have some stains on the shirts, some have taken sever concrete and chemical abuise and not a single thread out of place.

  18. This is not an "official" Garage Shirt, but it does appeal to some Old Car Guys. :)

this authentic shop shirt is the only one you should wear. stained with the grease and sweat of a 390 big block and a 50 chevy. maybe some blood mixed in too. the 65 year old grease under my finger nails is a badge of honor. when we go to town i wear a clean t shirt. can i get an amen brothers.

  25. I like the HAMB one....Only problem with that is that my Boss's name is Rex. Might get a little weird.....
I can wear anything I want to work (office) and also looking for stuff to wear to car shows etc. Trying to get out of the t-shirts. Looking for places that actually exist, not the made up ones on Amazon or the TV show ones. Would buy a TROG or SCTA one too. Rather have my own made up rather than buy a made up one off Amazon.

  26. Been working my way through the HAMB vendors. Would rather advertise for a shop I use.
