...............Very sorry to hear that. Though I didn't know Mr. Crockett it's always sad when you hear of the passing of a fellow hot-rodder, especially when it's one of our contemporaries. Glad you were able to re-connect with him in time, Al. I've had similar experiences where I failed to keep in touch with an old friend and finally caught up with them almost too late. We all need to do just a little better job of staying in touch with friends we care about.

 

Yeah he was a regular at my garage party. Can't believe how quickly he went.

 

Thanks Don. I met Jeff back in the early seventies when he was a counter person at Coleman Brothers Speed shop located in Jessup. Been friends since then. After his diagnosis he lasted only a few weeks...... He and I teased each other about the "Chevy versus Ford" being better or not. I will miss his teasing...
