You must have had a body hammer in your hand instead of a rattle when you were a baby, your fab skills are nothing short of amazing. Vive' le France!

Just found this thread. Amazing build!!! This reminds me of Don Garlits...living well away from the center of early hotrodding an drag racing, but building everything himself and then beating the pants off everyone. It must have been especially difficult to build this in France where you don't have the hotrod resources we have here in the USA. Congratulations!!!! And thanks for the nice photos on the beach...it is interesting to see the American-style traditional rods.

  12. If you're building a traditional hot rod in the UK, you really have to want one. To do the same in France, you have to desperately need one.

only 75mph on the sand. But for a 1st run, with full stock militaty french flat, a bad rear end ratio and closed in a full hand made coffin..... I'm proud! great experience!

I think I can made better, but Pendine sand Race (UK) , isn't Bonnevile, it's a short track with a stoped start.

75 with a stock flatty & 1st ride is great - stand proud & I'm sure was great experience - & certainly shows your skills to future customers.

I really enjoyed this build - keep us up to date about the escapades, it would be great to see what this thing would run.
