    A little update on the ford. I swapped out the dana44 and put a ford 9" with 2.75's.....alot of firsts for me, learned how to replace axle seals, and rebuild drums....

    The truck is cleaning up nicely....incredible how much a nice set of 'steel' wheels will spiff things up :D...those funky wheels before were making my right eye twitch! It's lookin' good man! --- Ray

  9. My Dad had one of those. The rear end was too tall for his liking. So he stuck some 427 gear,s and a no spin from a 64 international in a 56 ford truck housing and put it under the old truck. I sold the truck to some guy who lived near Joliet ill. No engine or trans but still had the low geared rear end.
