Hi guys - My 1934 Vicky came with no hinges attached to the car to attach the rear trunk lid and that area needs some metal work, but it did come with a box of parts. Is photo below of one of the trunk hinge? If so, can someone show a photo of how it mounts to the body and trunk lid so I can fabricate whatever is missing?
That looks like it is a hood hinge for a later car, almost looks like a 40 Ford hinge, the tab with the hole is for a spring. Found a picture of an unrestored car on Classic Cars.com and had a picture of the inside of the trunk but can't see the hinges.
There is a few pictures here, maybe send a PM to see is they still have their Vicky and ask for pics. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1932-1933-1934-ford-victoria.874947/
Thanks for identifying the hinge as 1937 Ford. I have reached out to a couple of Vicky owners from the Classifieds. That said, if anyone can provide some photos of 1934 Vicky trunk lid hinges and trunk latch it would be greatly appreciated. Bantam
A fellow Victoria owner told me that the latch is the same as the coupe's. I have my hinges off of the the car-long term project, so can dig them up and attach pictures later.
Salt Flats Speed Shop modified a '34 to look like a '33.. He might still have the deck lid. There is a thread on here.
That pic above looks a lot like a coupe hinge, except for the triangle base where a coupe's is rectangle.
