Sorry it has been a while since I've posted an update concerning this years show.

We started giving this award away the past five years and it is kool to be able to thank guys for being an inspiration to our hobby. I was very thankful to have all of the winners at last years show.

Everyone is looking for a hotel rooms because the Quality Inn & the Hampton Inn hotels are both booked. All of the hotels are in Bartlesville, Ok which is only 4 miles from the car show. Fortunately Bartlesville has an abundance of hotels to choose from. Below are the next best hotel choices.

Fairfield Inn in Bartlesville, Ok telephone #(918)331-2100. It's about two miles from the host hotel and its a very nice place to stay. Also some good eating places in walking distance from the hotel....

Candlewood Suites in Bartlesville telephone # (918)766-0044 It is also a nice place to stay and a mile form the host hotel. Also walking distance to some good eating places.

Holiday Inn Express telephone # (918)766-0020 is a nice place to stay and is right by the Washington Park mall.

    Stay tune for more...

If you have any more questions just let me know..

    Happy Trails, Mick

I am iffy for this year 'cause my daughter and her husband be like, expecting their first child. If the baby comes early, I'll be there. If she hasn't popped out by show time, I won't. But sending in my registration regardless!

Looks like Clarence will be ready. I drove it today for the first time in almost 3 years. Got a few minor bugs to work out but nothing that would keep me from being there. New GM 350 crate motor runs great. Newly rebuilt T-350 trans shifts like it should. Newly rebuilt 8" rear makes no noise. New brakes stop like they should. etc., etc., etc.

(Mick; are the cops still looking for me? How 'bout the EPA and fire department?)

First time going for me. Just booked 2 rooms at the Candlewood Suites.

FYI: It's $92 per night, not $75 as stated above.

  20. Mick! This hotel deal is killing me...first year that we wont be staying at the host...they really threw us for a loop by not letting us reserve our rooms last year when we checked out. Nevertheless, Mike is rollin the 56 up to Dustins' on Wednesday, we will be heading up early Thurs morning, and the rest of the crew will be there Fri morning! Ready for a good time as usual!

Sorry, the host hotel sold again and we have all new people in charge. I cannot believe how many times the hotel has been bought over the past 14 years. That is why they didn't take reservations last year because they knew the new owners would have their own computer system.... Hopefully next year the reservations will go smoother. Look forward to seeing ya guys.

I’m getting some questions about the pre-64. We have always been a pre-64 show just hadn't really enforced it. I know we have some years of cars & trucks that have similar body styles, you will not have a problem getting into the show. (For example Caddys, Rivieras and some pickups for example) We want kool vehicles attending the event
not brand new vehicles etc., If you have any questions let me know. Happy Trails, Mick

    Kool example below.....

We (the collective Stray Kat Kustoms we) just need to buy the host hotel. Rent it out 51 weekends a year, reserve it for SK500 one weekend a year!

My plan is still there to attend maybe next year with the Hudson. Still tying to get this insurance thing squared away and then maybe the rest will fall into place.
