Projects STILL (yes, still) needed; HAMB relay; Virginia to Missouri (or to east Tennessee or Chicago)

Dino64 has a pair of F-1 doors in Sterling, VA. That's in extremely northern Virginia; about 25 miles west of DC. We'd like to get them to me near Columbia, MO. OR to the SK-500. OR to the Rust Revival. OR to the H.A.M.B. Drags. OR to the Color Run in Quincy. OR even to my relatives' near Knoxville, TN or Johnson City Tennessee..

My favorite hamb hauler (BenD) doesn't have any trips that would help currently lined up; otherwise I'd just pay him.

Good luck, I don't think Greyhound would be good thing. I am willing to drive to Rt 81 in Winchester, Va.

Dino mentions that he could possibly get them to Winchester, VA, if that helps. That's right on I-81 and Johnson City is just off of I-81. Perhaps someone running I-81 could meet Dino somewhere around Winchester and get them to Johnson City?

 

Or if someone is going to come down 81-77 I could meet on 77 in NC.

Just have to find someone going down 81. I'm probably going to York , PA NHRA show, I can bring them if someone is heading home that way.

 

I could pick them up the 3rd of June and bring them all the way. I live in Dallas, TX. Any gas money you could shoot me would be great.

anyone headed one of these ways?

OR to the south of Chicago area (I have relatives there, too)? Specifically Mokena or Frankfort. These are on the south of I-80; east of Joliet and west of I-57.

 

I have a KRW engine stand that I bought off EBay that MAY be getting relayed to Winchester VA via a Fordbarn member. If so, I will let you know if I am going to get it. I could bring the doors to E. TN, or even Knoxville for you.

That would work great! I could do a day trip to Rogersville on one of my east Tennessee trips and pick them up. Please let us know if this turns into reality. It looks like you're an hour or two from the UT Medical Center and we stay about a half hour southwest of UT when we're there. A half day trip to pick up the doors would just give the ladies a half day to do whatever it is that ladies do when we're not around.

 

The possibility of getting the to east Tennessee via hotrodA isn't going to work out. He got his K R Wilson engine stand home. So now we're back to square one.
