My dad referred to it as the Sheep In Wolfs Clothing. The thing couldn't fall of a cliff to gain speed.

I tried to capture a 60's vibe with the build. Very amateur job on the paint and body but I was only 16 at the time. The mechanicals were right though, 327, Muncie 4 speed, 57 Pontiac rear with 4:88 gears. Lots of fun back in the day.

Built in the early 70s but still has that 60s vibe. Love this car.

  14. '56 150 - The side of that black beauty is like a sheet of glass. The Cragars are a home run. Diggin' the tuff steelie look also, but the S/S wheel was made for these cars. Got a set for mine stored away in case I want a temporary change.

Went through my dad's car this summer, redid the ugly high back bucket seat interior back to benches, cut and buffed the ages old lacquer paint job and just a ton of little details. It did eventually get the stock front bumper put back on it but I took this pic right before I put the bumper on just for fun.

Not real sure when the car was first hot rodded but it's still got it's big bolt pattern Olds rearend in it with slapper bars, Monroe air shocks, a Muncie 4 speed, some custom vinyl pleated door panels, chrome gauge cluster/glove box lid/ashtray and several other neat custom touches. Was originally green, paint has to be 40+ years old but cleaned up surprisingly great. Was a 327 at one time, has a new 350 now.

2000 or 2500 grit wet sand and 3M products (cut/polish) will work wonders on well laid single stage paint. Looks great to me.

I've had two 56 Chevrolet, model 150, Utility Sedans, one was Robin's Egg Blue, the other White. It looks like this black 150 has roll down rear side windows, so it's a sedan, but I'd sure like to have another one. They are, IMO, the best thing Chevrolet ever turned out; and I've owned TEN 56 Chevrolets over the years; the current one is a Sedan Delivery. I've owned FOUR of those (one was a 57 however). Tri-Five Chevrolet's and Cragar S/S wheels; nothing compares to them. JMO. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
