Just picked up a 62 chevy biscayne 2 door sedan. The rear interior side panels have snaps installed along the top and down the sides. (On both sides) Never have seen this but someone said it may be for a privacy cover for back seat to keep valuables out of sight. Any thoughts?

Remember the black, 55 Chevrolet 150 coupe Harrison Ford drove in American Graffiti? It had the entire rear seat area covered (it was probably a Utility Sedan and did't come with a rear seat), but it was custom. Maybe something similar was done? Never heard of a factory option however. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Thanks for the comment Butch. Ya then I was thinking maybe panels belonged to convertible or something but probably something someone added at some point in its life
