Is this the body that's $6,900 on their website?

Flop is done! And its all mine! next week im making the 16 hr drive from louisiana to pick this bad boy up. Flop did an amazing job making the body fit together like its supposed to. Well worth the money to have him do it. He is truly an artist with metal working. Cant wait to check it out in person.

Been real interesting to follow this assembly. I have been thinking of buying on unassembled and putting it together but after seeing this I may rethink that idea. Looks like a lot more to it than bolting it together.

    Sounds good Dale .

Louis there are 170 plus holes to be drilled . Panels reworked everywhere etc etc

  14. Only one thing Flop . . . I think you need a good hole saw! That gas-tank hole looked like "Jaws" from the old James Bond movie got a bit hungry on that cowl top! :)

I did the same thing with a 28 body and as you are finding out their direct replacement parts are not direct replacement. Once assembled I honestly have around 200 hours making their stuff fit their stuff. Finished product is my Avatar.

Great work, I've got an original 28/29 that needs lots of attention, and seeing this helps!

I might lower it a little more. Not much though. Ive got a model t rear spring im gonna try out and reversed eye front spring. Also gonna run splash aprons, it will give the illusion of being lower

  21. I was just kidding around . . . this car looks like a high-boy, so go with it! A couple inches lower might be cool, but it doesn't need much more than that. :) I know it is none of my damn business, but I do think some 'rubber rake' might look good. But Hey - you can always wear these tires out first!

Great work Flop! Thanks for sharing.
When you purchase an assembled body from Brookville, have they taken care of all these fit and gap setting issues, or do they still need to be addressed?

Yeah im going for the early 40's look . The tire sizes are 6.00 in the front and 7.50's in the rear. The front should drop a little more when i get the full weight of the engine in it. Thats just am empty mock up
    Block.

Is that the Deluxe height windshield or is there more chop than the factory 2" ? It looks shorter? I like it.
