I finally got the Tudor out and around the block today. Brakes need some attention , probably from sitting for a while. Anyway was good to finally have it powered under its own steam. Still a few things I need to sort out, but hoping to do a few short trips in it to get the bugs sorted. so , it was a nice day so gave it a wash and took some photos.
Congrats, I look forward to doing the same in my Tudor one day. Now get back out there and puts some miles on her.
Sits really nice! Can you tell us what suspension is in there? What'd you do to the springs, and what axles? And did you modify any crossmembers?
I hope you're not thinking of lowering your sedan too...I personally liked both sedans stance, sitting like they were...
Thanks Thommo Hi Mike, told you I'd do a decent job of this old girl. But it's still not finished yet. Yes. I 'borrowed' the luggage rack from 'swifty' as he wasn't using it. just had to swap him the rear spreader bar, as he had the luggage one on his coupe.
I'll dig up some photos and post them here. it's all early ford nothing special at all, I did the same with my roadster. but in the end I flatened out the rear X member on that one, but this is stock. No, taking the roadster, that's what was invited. Rusty, post a photo over in the 32 sedan thread, and I would love to see some build pictures of your car its perfect. who said you need to swap? just bolt... the single carb is just to work out the bugs and get the engine sorted and then I will move one to different setup.
Perfect. Car looks fantastic. With the blower on there, it will sound great as well. Look forward to it!
Yeah I know! We live on a very steep hill so its been very short break in trips so far. This afternoon I got brave and we went down the hill and put about 8 miles on her
I think I did already. My so called build thread is called i picked a color and had some paint squirted.
