    Hey guys,
Are they Carters? Or are they Webers?
Anyone have the info on the 2-barrel carbs that Langdon sells called "Carter Weber".

Probably similar to Holley Webers but can't swear to it.

So "Holley Webers"? Does that mean Holley or in this case Carter was licensed to use Weber carb designs??

  4. They have the Weber casting "W" on the side and both the Carter stamped in model number and the cast in Weber numbers.

Don't know if their Carters, Webers or Holley's. I have them on my 63 and they work great.

I hear ya! I plan to run them also, all I hear is good about them. I already placed my order but I'm just looking for a little background info on them. I already had someone ask me "carter webers? Are they Carters or are they Webers?" Hmm... Apparently a good question.

The original design was Weber's, an Italian company. When Ford and Chev wanted to use them on their Pintos and Vegas in the 70s they had them made under license by Holley and Carter because it was cheaper.
