Don't forget, the HAMB Meet & Greet Breakfast is scheduled for tomorrow morning, 4-29, at 7:30 AM.

It will be held at the same location, Sunshine Family Restaurant at 401 Central Avenue. We will once again be in the Banquet Room. See everyone then!

Well, the weather radar map looks like crap. Pretty good sized cell coming out of Kansas and Oklahoma, headed straight for DBQ.

I had a great time at Vintage Torque Fest. I was initially planning to go Saturday with a large caravan of cars. Mother Nature however had other plans.....in the form of rain. Luckily it is a Friday and Saturday show so we went Friday. There was no rain Friday and the sun came out in the afternoon. As usual the show was great. Outstanding cars and lots of great people. Bumped into HAMBers Titus, Bob K (of course), Marcy, and BobWop.

I did not take a lot of photos as i just had my smart phone. I will share what I have...

The drive was awesome and a lot of fun. My car ran great on the long haul! Crossing the bridge to Iowa with the Mighty Mississippi River below.

We sat in the staging lane for some time before the gates opened.

It was a great time. I was able to purchase several Hop Up Magazines and some art from Max Grundy. The swap meet was great too.

Had a good turnout today considering the weather. I pulled in about 8, and had a few hours before the rain really picked up. Didn't see any auction results, had to leave early.

I got there today in time for the rain. So, yeah, the weather kinda sucked, but I had a good time anyway. Saw some cool cars, neat stuff. Stayed through the start of the auction, then headed home.

All in all it was a good time, even with the 8 hour bike ride home in the rain. Deke put on an amazing show and I really enjoyed Slim Cessna. Only thing I noticed that was affected by the rain was the swap meet.
