Went to Seattle for the weekend to attend the Seattle Roadster show. For some reason the 50th Annv of the Portland Show was the same weekend so it was roadtrip time.

Sat morning found me, KustomBuick and a few friends south bound and down heading for Portland. Decent show, highlight was running into Chip and Heather and seeing their new toy.. WOW, what a ride.. (see Henry J below). Also ran into Adam of Hurst Tires.. it was nice seeing the tires in person..

Sunday, we did a late breakfast and headed over to the Seattle show. spent a few hours running around and had to stay for teardown to help some friends. Marshall's 37 was finished and it was fun (kinda) watching them lower the car off the stands. (Marshall, i was the guy with Alan). The car was outstanding.. overall look is so much better in person then in the shots.

Have fun looking - Here is link to Seatle show:

Fred, When I got to town, my buddies had the night planned and since i was a guest with no car, I did not say anything (went to go see Fastest Indian) and we had to be up by 4am the next morning so being out real late was out of the question. I really wanted to come up and we will met up this year... I have a business meeting in April, will have a car and will make time to come by.. (I know I have said that before).

Nice pictures. How did you get all of those full car shots without anyone in them? I always had people walking in front of me, or there was a giant crowd.

This year was way cool. So many more cars than normal. I had no idea that room was even that big. They have always had it partitioned off. Was really neat to see the Orange Crate in person.

    So which was better????:)

that 37 was put together by our own HAMBer Marshall for a customer. Today as we speak it should be on its way to Spokane for one more Indoor show and then its done (according to the owner I talked with on Sunday Night). The car was displayed at the show to show its styling, not gather points (hood and trunk closed) which was nice for taking pics and to enjoy the flowing lines.

The car has some great style to it, the sunk E&J lights with matching custom made rear ones. A nice thin beltline trim piece. My buddies at Byers Custom and Restoration did the final body and paint work..

If Marshall has woke up from his sleep (he looked beat at the show) he could give more info..

How do I get those pic with no people. I stand and wait.. and wait.. its the only way..

I mentioned in another post about the Riddler being short of the "wow" factor.
This car has the WOW factor that I'm talking about. Hopefully Marshall can
post some build pics and more infor I'll just hang tight.

    Happy Trails,

Marshall, good to see you have awoke from your sleep... Did the car get safely put up on the stands in Spokane....(wasn't 'one-winger' going over also to help detail it...)

Always enjoy sharing my photography with the group

Thanks for posting the link to the previous post. How did I miss the build pics?
Go check out the post. These Pictures could be on a porn site, because I'm
lusting after this car. Two cars this year have stood out among the rest
Kauchers '54 Vicky and this '36.

    Again great job guys!!
