Really beautiful restoration, Bill! I love the way you tastefully customized the interior – outstanding upholstery work.

Question: I know that the Firesweep uses the Dodge hood and front fenders, but does it share the same front bumper and grill with the Firedome and Fireflite? Or is it subtly different to fit the Dodge sheet metal?

Thanks for the comments on the car. I am not sure about the bumper and grill being the same as on other '57 Desoto models. I would guess that they were.

That is one of the most beautiful cars I have seen. The style and the color is just pure elegance in my book!!!!

Great Job! Just Stunning. What radio did you use in the glove box? I want to do the same thing on my Lincoln, keep the stock AM and mount a small one under the dash. I like the look of that unit. Thanks.

Beautiful... I have a hangup on those big old forward look cars. Here's a New Yorker I recently owned

Thanks for the comments on the car. I found the glove box radio on ebay. It was very inexpensive, around $15. I looked to see if there was a name or model number on it, but did not see any. It has a FM tuner and a socket for a memory stick. My dash radio is an AM only unit and still works.

That is a great looking Chrysler. A friend of mine had a '57 2 door hardtop New Yorker and that was a nice one as well. Thanks for the comments on the Desoto.

Thanks Brandon; great New Yorker. Regarding parts, you might try contacting John Fowlie at BIG M Auto: [email protected]

A really beautiful example you have.
    Congrats! :)
After this great project is there a new one waiting in line that you are going to bring back?

Thanks for the comments on the car. Regarding bringing back another. I am following your "NEED TO SMILE? DRIVE A BLOWN SLINGSHOT" moniker. I've been working on a '30 model A that is chopped, channeled, and shortened. It also has a 6-71 blower on the engine. I hope the pictures I attached come through.

The Shop Parking is looking Great!
Variety is the spice of life they say.
That old Huffed Model A should take care of Your Need For Speed quite nicely!
It looks like it is already finished?
Please share more pics of it when you can.
    Great Work!
