Dear God, Larry, just read how it happened. I can feel the shock from here, just stunningly bad luck. Simple knee surgery, routine, right? Thinking about you, brother, hoping and praying you find the strength you need.

I was just thinking this morning, how my wife of 47 years has always been there and still cares for me. I cannot imagine being without her, so I will ask God to help you with your tragic lose. My prayers are with you.

    Larry!!!
Oh...my...Lord. I'm so so sorry. Doggone it...I'm so sorry, brother.
I just heard of this. I've hardly frequented the main forum at all since my dear wife Sandy passed suddenly last year, so I don't keep up much. But Mike (Saxman) let me know of your tragic loss.
God bless you, sir. Prayers (and tears) for you, your dear wife Donna, your family and close friends.
    God bless us all.

  18. I understand the thread has been here for some time, but only saw it today.
I don't know Larry, didn't know Donna, but that doesn't matter.
What matters is that we support one another, as witnessed here, in this life, which is so fragile.
Reading through the comments, we find we share one event , the loss of a loved one.
WE share the pain, the scars, yet we meet here, without others knowing.
My prayers will be with Larry and Donna.
    Never too late to pray.

Larry's had a real rough couple of years. I'm sure the words of encouragement offered to him regarding the loss of his wife are appreciated even now- it's always good to know you've got back-up.
    Hang in there , pardner.

  23. Going on 2 years for me, getting better but slowly... actually had a jackwagon at work say he'd trade places with me at the time. Guess everyone is not happily married.
