Hot Rods Y-Block oil filter ??

Ok Y-Blockers......due to my new steering being much closer to oil filter, im in need of a MUCH shorter oil filter. I am running the adapter to use modern filter. If ya happen to have a part no for a short filter that works itd be greatly appreciated!

Don't have a part number but a lot of these oil change shops are going to really small filters. The one near me has one that is real small for an FL1 replacement. I don't care for them but it would fit in a small space.

 

Speedway has ford 90 degree filter adapter. This is what I used. Works fine. Part# 910-6880

Fram PH3614 or equivalent is the shortest filter I could find for my 55 Customline with 312 and Cavalier steering rack. Plenty of room.

Just run a remote filter, if you already have an adapter for a spin on it is no biggy to set up a remote.

 

I think the Motorcraft FL300 works....Think. I haven't worked at a Ford dealership in 25 years though.
