If there's a date anywhere around the painted areas, Roth was there from '70-'75. After Roth left, Von Dutch took over the job until Cars of the Stars shut down.
Just when I think I'm burned out on projects.. You post this. Did you buy it? is it for sale? can I have it?
I have no definitive reason why - but my gut reaction is the lettering has a Von Dutch vibe to me. Cool find.
I believe Jim Brucker is still alive, if so,he would be the one to ask for the most definitive answer. Cars of the Stars has a facebook page, you may get some info there. Or at least get a message to them. https://www.facebook.com/MovieWorld-Cars-of-the-Stars-414030951960593/
I got no idea but can I borrow it to take to the HAMB drags this year. I can charge the locals for rides around the host hotel parking lot.
porknbeaner! THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!!! We will need to install a kegerator and stereo system first though!
I got an older quad stereo 45 watts per channel (really not just estimated) and a Sansui Quad synthesizer (that I can convert to 12 V) but we'll have to borrow speakers. Pretty sure I can borrow a kegerator but if not I got half a barrel and we can get ice. That old hooptie just looks like fun to me.
Agree with the others, feels more like Dutch than Roth, either way, or if neither, I'd still give it a home in my stable
