Does anyone know anything more about this Willys? This pic was supposedly taken at Goodguys Pleasanton in 2001.

    Paul:

That's the car. I have the old "It's A Gas 2" video, and the resolution is about the same. Crazy how a car that was running just fell off the map. Never saw any more of it.

Bought this 41 pickup out of Pittsburg Ca. first pic is the way I got it and second after I installed a original grill/headlights, the 39 2 door sedan came from S. Ca. I put a 350/350, dana 60 rearend and Volvo front disc brakes (was just on ebay for sale about 2 weeks ago) the last pic is a 33 sedan (used the cowl when I built a 34 Willys woodie race car), 41 pickup bed/frame and a 41 sedan all went to Wa.

From the looks of that sagging door I'd venture a guess that some structural integrity has been sacrificed for weight reduction! Break out the hole saw and torch Clem!!

Having had several Willys and been involved in many others the common reason for the doors sagging is the cutting of the firewall clear up to the cowl. On my steel 40 coupe I left the cowl vent structure but move the firewall (flat part) back and no door sag.

Here's one that Dan Greenburg included in his coverage of 2016 Roundup. Anybody know who owns it? Any history?
