hello my good wife done this painting for our 30th anniversary , I think it looks like mercury , then some one says Hudson , what do you guys reckon , I am chuffed either way .
Looks like a Mercury-ish to me,but your wife may have used a little artistic interpretation and manipulated the painting,regardless the work is excellent. HRP

Your bride is the artist so it is what she sez it is. Nice painting so just enjoy it for what it is. Don't EVER mess with the artist. I know ): my wife paints a lot of car pictures for us.
Happy Anniversary! Nice art work. I say Mercury, however more of a "caricature", i.e., the artistic licence belongs to your bride.
Mercury with some nice custom work, like making the '57 Buick grille look like it was born there. I heard somebody say that they built Hudsons so people wouldn't need to chop Mercurys. The Hudsons looked chopped from the factory.
I've been asked MANY times if my Merc is a Hudson. I don't mind because they look alot alike, especially chopped. Even some asked if it's a Packard.
