Great to see this one on the road. I've enjoyed watching the build. You've done a great job, now get out there and drive the wheels off it!

Some of the builds are worth going over again and yours is one of them. You hit it out of the park my friend! It's just plan car porn. Roger

Thought I'd post a few pictures from my recent road trip to Long Beach Washington for the 2015 Rod Run.

Thought I'd share a few pictures of my roof panel. I started with a 63 Meteor 2-door roof flipped backwards

I'm using epoxy to attach the fasteners

I had a stock roof kit with the long-grain pattern vinyl, here's a pic close to being done. Still need to iron out a few spots that resisted the spray adhesive

  9. Not to hijack but if other guys are looking for a roof panel for the 30-31 pickup, mid 90s GM full-size cars are perfect. Here is mine with a 94 Bonneville roof panel.

No worries, mid-90s GM cars are much easier to find! Do you have a technical thread for that?

  11. No thread. But I have a few pics, I could start one.

It's not really a build thread anymore, but I figured I'd post a few updates I'm making as I put miles on it.

Pic with the roof on, so far it works great.

    Some interior panels I added.

And finally I added a hidden tool box / storage compartment. You can access it by removing a floor panel.

Looking forward to all the shows and good weather this summer.

Aaron: What a great build, love the finished 'look'. Would like to see
some close up pics of the finished roof edges. What edging did you
use to finish the outside with? I'm looking to do something similar,
but have not found the right materials yet.
    Thank's, Rich

Man I love this truck. Plus it comes with such a amazing build thread. Its helped me through a couple tight spots on my own pickup

I've never been to the Portland transmission show thats been referenced a couple times, but hopefully I'll see your pickup there in real life this year.

Glad to hear it, thanks. Portland Transmission is for me the first milestone in a string of great events throughout the summer. Always the Saturday before Mothers Day, centered around 10th and Hawthorne. Hope to see you there.

I keep putting miles on and it keeps going! Definitely some little things I’d do differently in the build if I could do them over but overall I’m happy with it.
