have not posted in a few months on buick progress so here is the final pics of completed car. still looking for a few minor parts but it drives and runs great for a car that sat for 41yrs in a barn.
Beautiful, John , just beautiful. I wondered where you were. You were over on another forum, then vanished. I would really like to see that car. May have to visit my daughter in La Coste. Ben
it has been pretty busy down here,i was planning on coming up to the kkoa show in denton but my motorhome caught fire and got totaled, wife been ill, had to replace all the tires on buick, bought some used ones from e bay and they all came apart, now have cokers on it,should have done it in the first place.if you get my way would love to get together and talk buick.what are you working on now?
John, my 1950 41D is more or less done. Always something, though. Have done a couple things that are not HAMB friendly. So do not talk about it much here . wanting to do a 263 "hop up" if finances would cooperate. Ben
i I too know about the money thing, I would like to add a 2 duce carb setup to my 263 and split exaust, my car will never be a stock show car, the other site did not seem to like the direction I was going so I kind of quit checking in.could have just been me.
Thats a dandy looking Buick! I like the simple additions that make it stand out. It looks like the oem 53 Buick wire hubcaps, what did you use for centers? I like em!!
good eye, yes they are 53 caps, hard to find in usable condition, the centers were bent up so I put some 3 bar spinners on then and added buick decales to center ,not shown in pics, thanks
Good job, John ! Buicks are always cool...and a split manifold on the 263 will sound spot-on !! Jonnie www.legends.thewwbc.net
thanks, sorry for not repling sooner ,time just seems to get away from me ,will take pics of interior and motor this week, and post
