  1. ... It’s a GO! some quick sketches for the week...

Okay, this Desoto was not so quick a sketch

... but these were quickies, one in the sketch book, one on the dig-tablet...

This is a very quick study sketch I whipped out the line art on the other night, a 2-5 min sketch. Last night I added the color, 10 min. The subject isn’t a real person, just whatever flowed out of the stylist, no editing, just as if working in ink. The hair was a question so I went HAMB friendly... Reminds me of someone but I don’t know who...

  4. Thanks man, the knob looks killer. The sketches take anywhere from 2 minutes to twenty. I spent about 2 on the portraits line work and, maybe, 10-15 coloring it. The blue pencil sketches vary and some take up to an hour or so.

    Thanks Neil, love your toon!

  9. Great strat to the FAS!

A new piece modified from some previous artwork and this weeks FAS give away. A combination of rigid cardboard, matte board and white vinyl board, hand painted. About 23 1/2" by 15". Not an outdoor sign.

Same as before, all post numbers of original artwork from this weeks FAS get put in hat. One winner will be chosen at random Saturday night and contacted by IM. Must be willing to provide a shipping address. Reimbursement for shipping would be appreciated. Post away!!

Voodoo Larry's apprentice Brian is building a Jesse Lopez coupe inspired car, but with full fade-aways. He wanted something to draw his inspiration from...

John Mearns 32 coupe build can be found here on the HAMB. He asked me to create a shirt design for him but the car wasn't finished. So I pieced the car together from Ryan's build pics, lowered the angle and then scratched this. Spoggie: I really like your "Stupid-cheap" painting. BO

Here's my reference for creating ACME's '32Coupe BOMONSTER original. I see all my mistakes now but at the time they sure were helpful. Thankfully the client didn't make too many changes. Thanks John - BO!
