My name is Dan, I'm 30. Started working on our family vehicles with my dad since I was old enough to hold a flashlight. My dad didn't make much growing up so we always had cars that needed work, and my dad always had old stuff he bought on the cheap. Learned early on about small blocks, small engines, basic stuff. Worked in a major chain auto shop for a while just doing small things on people's daily drivers but it was all new stuff and pretty boring. I've owned many old vehicles since then and learned a ton by researching and just getting my hands dirty when something had me stumped. I have a 1971 gmc that I have built from the frame up. Every nut and bolt has been turned or replaced by me, every square inch I have cleaned, patched, replaced or modified. It's on air ride and still in the works. I recently got in to International Trucks and that's really got me hooked. I have a 67 Travelette 4x4 that I built a 304 for and drive to work a couple days a week, and a few months ago I bought a 58 A120 with a BD240 6cyl / 4spd. Cleaned the motor up and tying up some loose ends as I get time. I built a 50's style hotrod radio flyer wagon for my son and will build a pedal car stroller soon. Anyways here's some pics of my stuff and my kiddos wagon...enjoy.
