Some of you may know 37slantback (Don). He had an issue with his ticker yesterday and is in the hospital recuperating with a lot of pain. He is a very private person and I hope he does not get mad for me posting this but I'd bet he would appreciate your thoughts and messages for a speedy recovery. Thanks, Mark
Wishing you all the best Don. There is nothing wrong with being private, but there is also nothing wrong with the support of friends when you're down. Sent from my SM-G920V using H.A.M.B. mobile app
As I don't post on here very much can one of you please tell me how to copy or link Don so he can see these on his account?
Hang in there, Don. Your fellow HAMBers are sending you good wishes and healing vibes. Feel better soon.
You can send him a link to this thread. Just copy and paste this: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/member-down.1013466/
hey, there is too much going on here for you to miss. need to focus on the positive and do whatever it will take to get you on the mend. hang in there, take care.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery, I hear the Easter bunnys coming, so hope your up for a little chocolate in the coming days.
Been there, done that as they say. I had two Heart attacks followed by by-pass surgery in 1999. It is amazing what the Drs. can do so take their advice and get well. I'm sure they told you about smoking, drinking and exercise but attitude is most important. Welcome your friends and share the experience, it could help them.
Don,having the members here wishing you a speedy recovery and offering you prayers helps you mentally. This coming from a guy who has recently been the recipient of such a outpouring of support from your friends. TAKE CARE, HRP
Mark: Even though Don is a private sort of guy, He may wonder if any one "cares" if He doesn't hear from some of His friends. I think you did the right thing. Tim
Get well soon Don.....do what docs tell you.....listen to your body when it tells you to take it easy. I had two heart attacks three years ago....I'm on meds......collapsed artery, leaking valve, docs think it's better to treat me with meds and excercise rather than operate. So far so good.....keep your sense of humour.....Bob in Scotland
Hope this is just one of those speed bumps, that slow us down, but don't stop us. Get Well soon! Ron...
My wife and I want to express a personal thank you to each and everyone of you with a special Thnks to Mark I am getting to go home today. By all rights I should not gave made it to the hospital. So it could have been worse and I learned a tough lesson regarding diet.
