  3. 49-54s are the perfect starting point for any build! They do 50's Kustom, 60's Kustom, Gasser, Bomb, stock, ANYTHING. Here's mine. 4" chop, 3" Jamco springs with 2" blocks. Mustang II with 2 coils cut. '59 283 w/ aluminum '64 Powerglide. Sherwinn Williams Genesis single stage paint. All work by me except motor and tranny rebuild. I just sold my 51 Business Coupe; powertrain and suspensions/brakes were done, but it needed bodywork/paint, chrome, and interior. Just too many projects going on, something had to go, and the 51 did't make the cut. Now I see this beautiful interior, paint, and chrome; oh what it could have been! @#$%^&* it! I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Thanks Jason, cars like your 51 is what gave me the inspiration.

  16. I became obsessed with Pat Ganahls 52 That was in rod and custom in the early 90's. I'll have the flat spoke torque thrusts and a dual quad 283 under the hood in the next month. 1458699163639.jpg

Hi Guys..From Toledo , Ohio Here
Heres My 52 Styleline Special Coupe... Has 235 w/ split mani, 52 cruz in.jpg w/ 3spd , enclosed driveline, 3" blocks rear & 2'' Drop Coils on Front.. Cragar Delux on Coker 670's. Probably going to cut 1 coil off to get it to lay alittle lower up front... Also Would like to go back to more the original "emerald green" or the two tone option... but leaning more to getting back to original color.

Here is my Pop's 50 Fleetline. It's got the driveline out of a 70 Monte Carlo and a Mustang II front suspension. Airbags on all 4. He did all the body work himself. The engine is a 250 inline made by Clifford. Runs real good. 1950 CHEVROLET FLEETLINE 01.JPG

My 51 coupe found in a field in 1980, was a C/Gas car at one time.
