Don't know if you heard but one of our SKK members Herb Palmer passed away last night. He is no longer fighting cancer and not suffering and in pain. I know he would want me to Thank you for all of your prayers. ..... Herb was our quality control officer. I didn't ask him to do this he took it upon himself to make sure things were right at our shows. We talked daily about what I hadn't done yet and he made sure that I was doing my job. Herb was known for falling asleep at car shows and he thought that it was funny when this picture was posted on the HAMB. I thought it was a good sign when I saw him asleep, because I knew that Herb thought things were going ok..... Herb was a huge fan of the HAMB and was very active on the message board. He supported the Hot Rods, Kustoms, the music and the Kustom kulture Art. I consider Herb as one of my kustom fathers and he will be greatly missed.... Please pray for his Kustom family and friends.
Sorry to here of Herb's loss in his fight against cancer nd my heart goes out to family and to is fellow club members. HRP BTW,what is Herb's username here on the Hamb? HRP
Thank you guys for your kind words about Herb and your prayers... Herb's funeral will be Friday 3/25/16 at the Peculiar Community Bldg, (across the street from the Country Market on Schug st.) Peculiar, Mo. Visitation will be 1 to 4 and the service will be at 4pm.
I'd like to thank everyone that was at Herb's funeral and for all of the prayers. Herb was a Hot Rod father to a lot of us and he will be greatly missed. I was honored to have Herb give me his 39 Ford sedan. Wow! What a blessing Thanks Herb! I plan on driving the 39 just like you did, going everywhere in the hot rod. Thank You Herb for being such a big inspiration to your Kustom and Hot Rod Family. I know one day we will see ya again....
