image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg just finished up my first shakedown run with the 31 sedan I've been building for the last year and can't wipe the shit eating grin from my face. I feel like I've done something wrong and got away with it haha..I've built a lot of cars but this has by far been the most rewarding ...after fabricating the patent pending moon tank mounts it was time to quit looking at it and drive it!! Took a couple quick squirts with it to make sure nothing was leaking or falling off and then took it on a 5 mile trip to a buddy's house on a dirt road. The car rattled and banged and was loud as shit and there was no windshield or roof or Windows and a hole in the floor and it was awesome. I'm totally rambling but this is one of the coolest feelings ever. Still have a lot of work to do but it's a driver. With a stoked driver!!!

You should detail how you mated what looks like a slant windshield fordor cowl to a two door sedan body. I am really interested in what you did just above the windshield to make it look like a Deuce. Are those Model A Vicky doors???

Nice looking build with some innovative ideas.

image.jpeg 32 header panel mated to the a sedan body. The car came to me with this already done. The doors were stock Model a sedan doors and I built them to match . the upper portion of the doors I used the inner radius pieces from a 32 truck door .Pie cut the model a door pillars to match the laid back front. Weird transition from overlapping a to the inset 32.

image.jpeg That nailhead is no joke. No problem in the giddy up and go. Spent some time fussing with the progressive linkage and got it sorted out. Loud and fast and funner than shit!!

I'm putting a kit together now with bailing wire and zip ties. Ha! I just got so damn impatient I rigged that tank to the front so I could drive it. Would have romped on it harder but I was worried it would fall off, I'd run it over , and blow up like a bugs bunny cartoon. Found on road dead.

There's no ride like the first one, no matter how many cars you build.

I like the Buick brake drums to match the nailHEAD.

I love those finned brake drums! I scored a 50's Buick speedo as well. First nailhead and aside from the gigantic starter right where the steering column wants to go I'm into it. And yeah that first ride, and this one in particular was hella cool.

8:1 Schroeder box. Tons of research on here and planning before full commit. I was worried once it was all built as I couldn't hardly turn the wheel with it sitting in place. Once I took it out today worries are gone. Drives like a go cart.
