Start building this 3 window for a customer in the fall, hope to have it on the road in a couple months as a beater, then will be taken apart down the road for final.

Started off with a body that was pretty decent, my customer Ryan (hes on here just cant think of his name at the moment) traded his chopped body to Bob Bleed for this uncut one cause Ryan is a giant! he has to duck coming into my chop, so he needs the headroom!

the frame came with another truck project he got and was an old hot rod frame, we cleaned off all the old clutter from it and over all they were pretty decent, no rust or pitting
    IMG_0856.jpg
stuck it into my frame jig and it fit nicely, no major issues
    IMG_1094.jpg
the front A crossmember was crudely installed years ago so it was removed, cleaned up and reinstalled IMG_1090.jpg
backs gonna be low so it needed a C notch. IMG_1359.jpg
ive always like step boxing, looks nice so i do that on most of my frames IMG_1360.jpg
gonna be cadi powered, so gotta have a lasalle trans behind it, x member legs are chassis engineering, i like them cause they are a timeless looking peiace
    IMG_1270.jpg
    trans mount, nothing special!
    IMG_1271.jpg
    out of the jig IMG_1362.jpg
32 heavy axle we dropped, 37-41 spindles and brakes, buick drums IMG_1474.jpg
    roller, 16" firestones, 550s and 750s, rear end is a bronco 9"
    IMG_1578.jpg
we used 40 bones up front but as some know or have noticed they are thick, so i put them in my bridgeport and machined them down, took 1/2" off, hey, it all adds up!
    IMG_1762.jpg
trimmed off the stock flange from the f100 box, will make a new one at the correct angle
    IMG_1764.jpg \
start of the floors and trans tunel
    IMG_1870.jpg
floors and tunnel, cool ansen shifter
    IMG_1888.jpg
last set of my hanging ansen type pedals
    IMG_1871.jpg
i never liked putting a spacer under the master, 1 more thing to loose, so i just make the firewall flat there, there will be a reinforcment plate made for the back, i dont think people realize how much leverage you have.
    IMG_2095.jpg
cut the bones off and flipped them so the weld was at the bottom so chroming will be easier, also allows me to mount to the bottom of the frame and have the caster correct
    IMG_1929.jpg IMG_1928.jpg
toe boards and bottom of firewall and trans tunnel all done, only had to trim about 3/8 off the front corner of the firewall for the motor to clear, ill have to snap a pic djdj.jpg
here is is as a roller
    IMG_1598.jpg
    ill update more later

Very nice - going with the Cad motor and trans makes it even better!

Like the 'C' notch. I've seen so many people do this wrong with no inherent strength left afterwards. Subscribed.

Damn fine build, Caddy powered 3W, should be the emblem of this forum! You guys in MN build some mighty fine machinery, we lived in Red Wing during the 70s. One of the first hotrods to make a lasting impression on me in my pre-teen years, that prehistoric for you young guys, was at a filling station in Johnson City, TN where my grandpa lived. A dark maroon '32 three window, full fendered, cad-lasalle floor shift, 303 Olds. I was drooling on it when owner came over and told me all about it. See what happens when an older guy befriends a young guy? You create a car junky for life!

Always liked Titus' builds, straight forward with only the tried and true stuff/ new ideas when they look right.
