I am trying to find information on which Jeep front sway bar will fit my 48 Plymouth coupe. It has 354 hemi, relocated shock mount, Cavalier rack and pinion and disc brake conversion, including the OEM "A" arms and stock spindles. I get a little more "dipping" in the turns than I think it should. Can anyone help? thanks.

Jeep Cherokee, regular or Grand, 1", 1984-2001. Run it upside down.

Sway Bar 6.jpg Sway Bar 7.jpg Sway Bar 8.jpg Sway Bar 10.jpg Sway Bar 11.jpg I am posting photos of the sway bar and end links I am trying to install and with not too much success I might add. I got a 97 Jeep Cherokee sway bar and, as you can see, it appears to be too long on the ends that connect to the bottom control arms. This is a 48 Plymouth. I'm wondering if the before mentioned install was for a Dodge?

You should be able to push it back a little. I have done this on a Plymouth.

Thanks gimpyshotrods, I'll try moving it forward enough to be able to make lower control arm brackets like you show in your photos. Thanks again. I'll post photos when I get this all finished.

Ok, I finally got started back on my 48 recently. I got the sway bar figured out, thanks to you Hambers. Now I am trying to finish the exhaust, air conditioning and wiring. I will post some photos, if I can, of my progress. Also notice in the photo how far away the tire comes from hitting the sway bar mount. This is with the rack lock to lock.

Thanks for sharing. Im looking into doing this on mine. Did yours have the factory sway bar on it? If so did you notice improvement?
