  1. A couple of 40 Ford coupes from San Francisco in the 80s. Wonder where they are now?

Car crushers were around way before '65. I've seen pics of them from the 30's, so it's totally possible the roadster got crushed.

Wow, those poor Studes are toast. :(

  12. Saddest is the GT Hawk. These would rust even under good circumstances. The engine OTH will probably still turn over.

I read the story. It is a '67 that was changed over to a '68. It also has drag racing history. The original owner/driver of the car is aware of it and it's location but has not been able to purchase it. Tough to see it sinking into the ground like that.

  22. Thought maybe it was something a vengeful wife won in a divorce.

  23. The story says it is a 1967 that was altered by the dealer to look like a 1968.

Hopefully it gets saved, but as dumb as alot of people are it will most likely be crushed and scraped.

They could buy a new single wide trailer if it was sold.

  26. The owner would have you believe it is worth 50K. The motor and tranny are in the house trailer in the back ground, and can be bought for an additional 10K.

I like yard art as much as the next guy. Its one thing planting flowers in a $100 heap, but why a Shelby ? like DAH!!!

Scroll back a bunch of pages to the `57 T-Bird....There was a woman involved in that story.

  29. It might have been worth 50k if they had taken care of it. Now only worth a fraction of that.
