Ditto on the hood...How far down does it come???
Beautiful '54 Pontiac 'Cutwater' grille looks deceptively low in relation to imaginary hood nose...
Superb bodywork, taillights are nicely 'sculpted'...(frenched)

Consider some nice chrome oval exhaust tips. They'd grace the clean bumper.

I am not particularly enamored with that color on that style car. It deserves better.

  15. Well done but then again I'm drawn toward the dark side of GM

That's funny! :D Recently I acquired a nice solid '49 Pontiac Business Coupe and told a good buddy Pontiac fanatic about it. His reply......"Welcome to The Dark Side" . Is that a motto of Pontiac fans?

    Looks great!
    I'm just starting a '49 Chevy 2-door Sedan.
    Thanks for the inspiration.

  19. Ray,

It must be a fanatic thing! I had never heard it before.
I knew of this guy from crossing paths with mutual friends at car stuff around town, etc... but hadn't spent a ton of time around him. He takes me aside after he heard I bought my first Pontiac, shook my hand handed me a beer, told me

"Welcome to the dark side of GM... us blacksheep got to stick together"

and handed me a set of keys to his personal shop to store and work on my hardtop.
